Music

I've been obsessed with music for what feels like my entire life. Musically, I first fell in love with artists like The Police and Melissa Etheridge when I was really young. Once I started exploring music more, I discovered bands like Green Day, The All-American Rejects, Linkin Park, Paramore, and others. That's when I really began to realize how important it is to me and how much I could rely on music for therapeutic, emotional, and expressive purposes. I truly believe music is a huge part of how I keep myself sane and mentally balanced, especially in the face of adversity.

I started playing guitar at the age of seven, and never looked back. Playing the guitar has always been an escape for me; I love playing music by John Mayer, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Story So Far, and others. When I was younger, I was a part of a number of bands, including a couple groups of my friends, the jazz band at my middle school, the guitar ensemble in high school, and more. I also play bass guitar, though not quite as well, and I briefly learned how to play the cello and standup bass for my middle school orchestra. Below are pictures of my favorite guitars:

Fender Stratocaster

PRS Semi-hollow body

Breedlove acoustic/electric

Fender Squier Bass

Nowadays I consider my favorite genres to be pop punk and alternative rock, but in truth I listen to everything. I love rap/hip-hop, pop, R&B, metal, some country, some classical music, some instrumental, and more. Along with all the aforementioned artists, some of my favorites today are Neck Deep, Polyphia, The Kid LAROI, iann dior, Machine Gun Kelly, and Aminé.
